About Jenny Lisk
Jenny Lisk is a nonfiction publishing and marketing strategist and adjunct faculty member at Bellevue College, where she teaches adult learners how to turn their memoir or other nonfiction manuscript into a polished, professionally published book.
She is also an award-winning author and long-time podcast host. Her books, including a memoir and an anthology, and her podcast, the Widowed Parent Podcast, guide the journey of solo parenting after loss.
At once obsessed with big-picture strategy and hyper-focused on details, Jenny loves working with nonfiction authors on all aspects of publishing and marketing. She specializes in strategic platform development for authors seeking to make a difference in the world.
Jenny holds an MBA from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business and multiple certifications in digital marketing. She is a certified PMI Project Management Professional and a certified Professional Scrum Master (Levels 1 & 2), and spent twenty years leading transformation projects on five continents for IBM. She is a member of the Independent Book Publishers Association and the Nonfiction Authors Association.
